Hey! My name is Emma and I’m the VP of Membership here at Delta Zeta! I remember my own recruitment experience—full of excitement and nerves, especially being from out of state. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.

The women of Delta Zeta have truly become my second home. They have inspired me to grow, supported me through challenges, and celebrated with me through all of life’s ups and downs. Every member of Delta Zeta is remarkable and has continuously shown me love that is ever steadfast.

Izzy (MC ‘21): As soon as I met Sammy I knew she was the perfect little for me! She’s been a source of positivity and support throughout the past two years, always bringing her contagious energy and humor into everything we do. It’s been so fun watching her become an amazing big, and I can’t wait for our fam to grow this year!

Sammy (MC ‘22): Izzy is the best big I could’ve ever asked for. I felt so comfortable with Izzy from the moment I met her, she has an infectious energy that feels like a warm hug. I never have a dull moment when I’m with Izzy, she is the definition of a ray of sunshine. The connection I have with my big has made my memories with DZ so special. I have so much love for Izzy and I could not imagine my time as a DZ without her. To know Izzy is to love her and I am SO thankful DZ brought us tougher.

Navigating the first year of college with such a kind, fun, and ambitious group of girls made the worlds of a difference! Here’s what MC ‘23 Izmani Núñez has been up to while abroad:
I am a public health-global health major with double majors in nutrition and public policy. Studying abroad in Rome has allowed me to further explore my major through hands on experiences at farms and historical sights! I have also had the honor of traveling throughout Europe and Africa to Croatia, France, Spain, and Morocco to create lifelong memories! I am forever grateful to UW and Rome for providing me with these amazing opportunities and experiences!

We can’t wait for you to get back Izmani!! 💗
